Call me Crazy....

OK, so call me Crazy, but I have committed to my husband to make him a brand new food dish each week!  I will look through recipes or cookbooks or follow a TV shows reccomendation and pick an item that sounds good or looks fancy, that I have never prepared before, and cook it for my man!  I will snap a photo on the plate before he eats (because I of course need to make a scrapbook for the recipes!) and then after dinner I earn 1-5 stars!  This Tuesday was the first dish....Chicken & Roasted Garlic Risotto.  Ummm, I got a generous 2 1/2 stars  LOL  Not because I didnt cook it right of course, but it really just wasnt one we will cook over and over.  Too bland and for sure the Risotto was nothing to scream about...LOL  Next weeks attempt, beef medallions with roasted veges I think...Oooh OOh and at some point I really want to try and cook up an awesome scallop like the Top Chefs on Bravo!  Yeah, I know CRAZY thoughts!!  Wish me luck!

This Crazy Idea!

So I have this Crazy Idea and boy am I excited!  I decided to retire from my job of 15+ years in a off economy to pursue my dreams of being a business owner and work doing what I really love, papercrafts!  I have been tossing this ideas around for years and even started the process a year or so ago and now have decided to pursue my dream full time! Some say I'm crazy, some say I'm dumb, some say I'm brave, some say they are so proud!  Whatever I am, this I know.....I'm happy!  I am going to start blogging now too, it will keep people updated on just how Cari's Crazy Ideas wind up working out.  Feel free to post!  LOL  Love to all, Cari
